Verreaux's eagle owl

The bird guide at Robert's camp told us that this young Verreaux's eagle owl was running his parents ragged by constantly demanding to be fed. The guide told us they will bring him small rabbits and mice, and sometimes cats. Sure enough, the next morning the young fellow was finishing off one of the cats that hung out around the Thirsty Goat restaurant. Lake Baringo, Kenya.
